“A is for activist” was not just the first book we bought, but, also the one which is always nearby. I guess, my son loves the colorful illustrations and the diversity! Who know’s? Maybe, he also just understands the message🤷🏿♀️
This ABC-book of Activism is fantastic in several ways. It’s fun, beautiful and brilliant. It’s empowering and teachs kids words like Justice, Ally, Advocate and Freedom. It also makes kids to think in an activistic way. I realized this when my son was around 15 months old. After reading this book several times, he would say „Paaw paaw pee ple“ (Power to the people) raising his fist and since then, this is establish in our Family language.
